CCJ Sweeps Heart of Dixie 2022!

Heart of Dixie 2022 attracts nearly 60 teams with CCJ taking the full sweep of divisions

January 25, 2022 - And just like that, the 2022 Heart of Dixie Tournament, with nearly 60 teams is over. This was my ninth H.O.D. and since you never know what the future holds, if this somehow ends up as my last I will be able to go out SUPER PROUD of the Capital City Juniors family.
ALL of our teams played great this weekend, whether they won one match or the whole division, they represented CCJ AMAZINGLY.
PLUS we made H.O.D. history this weekend by sweeping EVERY divisions championship game. 12-1, 13-1, 14-1, 15-1, 16-1, 17-1 & 18-1 all won their divisions.
And several 2's teams played them in the championships. I love when the officials approach me when it's over and say "honestly all your teams are clearly the best here, even your 3's have such good form"
SO THANK YOU CCJ staff, board members, coaches, players, parents, friends, etc... for making our club such an amazing club.

CCJ also hosted the 2022 College Showcase for our athletes and athletes from around the state on Friday. CCJ had colleges ranging from NAIA to NCAA division 1's in person and viewing via a livestream. We had over 70 athletes sign up and participate. Coaches enjoyed the showcase and were able to get in touch with several potential recruits. Overall Heart of Dixie 2022 and the College Showcase were a success and a great way to start off the 2022 club seaon! Congratulations to all of our CCJ teams for a stellar performance!
